TeamHR offers a menu of options to support organisations in supporting those experiencing redundancy. The specific package of support will take into account the number, and expertise, of staff losing their jobs, the nature and seniority of jobs likely to be sought, and last but not least the budget available for support.
TeamHR's support can be summarized as follows:
- one to many training in job search
- one to one career counseling
- one to one job search coaching
- job search support (phone, email and fax)
- internet based training and support
You'll probably want to tailor the support package for different staff groups but as a minimum we would recommend you consider our internet based outplacement training and support package which provides staff with unlimited access to information 24 hours a day 7 days a week for a whole year at a modest cost.
One to many training in job search
TeamHR offers one/two-day outplacement training programmes tailored for each organisation. The programmes aim to cover the change experience, organising your finances, next steps and job search.
One to one career counseling
TeamHR can offer a range of packages for individuals on a one to one basis. All teamHR's career counselling is undertaken by Chartered Occupational Psychologists. The sessions aim to support individuals in developing self-awareness to support people in assessing their own "tool kit" and their options.
One to one job search coaching
TeamHR can offer a range of packages for individuals on a one to one basis. All teamHR's job search coaching is undertaken by experienced HR/Personnel professionals. The sessions aim to support individuals in developing a CV, understanding how to tailor a CV to a particular job and transferring skills and knowledge for practical job search through using traditional job advertising media and the internet.
Job search support (phone, email and fax)
TeamHR can offer email/phone/fax based support to individuals for an agreed number of hours per individual. This time can be used to support the job search process by providing a combination of telephone, fax and or email based support to discuss job search strategies, specific matches against roles, to review job applications, a CV and so on.
Internet based training and support
TeamHR offers an Internet based outplacement training support programme containing all the information needed to carry out a well planned job search. This includes analysing strengths and development needs; setting career objectives; writing a CV; discovering the best ways to look for jobs; how to network effectively; interview skills and information for those thinking of self employment. Included in the programme are samples of CVs, interview questions and answers, letters, telephone conversations and recruitment agency information. The outplacement training site also offers other training covering: Guidance on the impact of personal appearance, image and body language; Information on reviewing your finances and obtaining financial advice.
